I changed something, but my live website looks the same

Two common reasons:

1. You haven't published yet. Your edits stay in your private draft until you press Publish. Nothing changes online until then.
2. You published just one page, but the change was website-wide. Things like your phone number, colours and logo are website settings. If you change one of those and publish a single page, the change won't go live. Publish your whole website, or choose to include website settings, and it will appear.

I can't publish

Before publishing, SnabbSajt checks a short list and points out anything that would make a weak website. To get past it:

• Empty home page - add at least one section to your home page.
• No way to be contacted - add a contact, booking or lead form section so visitors can reach you.
• Missing phone number - if your goal is to get calls, add a phone number under Settings → Contact details.
• Placeholder text - replace any leftover sample text in curly brackets, like {your service here}.

The first three must be fixed. Placeholder text is a warning you can choose to pass.

My article disappeared from the website

Unpublishing a news post takes it offline straight away. If you hid or unpublished an article and want it back, publish it again.

Editing on my phone feels cramped

Editing works on a phone, but it's more comfortable on a larger screen while we keep improving the phone layout. If you can, make bigger changes on a computer or tablet.

How does my website look on a computer?

You can check that from your phone. Turn on Preview in the editor and two buttons appear at the bottom of the screen: Mobile and Desktop. Desktop shows the full computer layout scaled down to fit your screen - the text is small, but you see how the page splits into columns, just as a visitor on a computer sees it. Press Mobile again, or turn Preview off, to keep editing.

One exception: a section built to fill the whole screen (a full-screen top image, for example) comes out shorter here than it will on a real computer. To judge that height, open your website on a computer.

There's no drag-to-reorder

To move a section up or down, use the up and down arrows on the section. Dragging sections around the page is turned off for now - the arrows do the same job.
