Every Sajt website starts with a free web address. When you're ready to look more established, you can use your own — like yourbusiness.se. The promise is simple: you choose the address, and Sajt handles the rest. You don't need to understand anything technical.

There are two ways to do this: connect an address you already own, or buy a brand-new one.

Connect an address you already own

1. Open your site's address settings and type your address, for example yourbusiness.se.
2. Sajt shows you one small change to make where you bought the address. Follow the simple instructions.
3. That's it. Sajt checks everything for you, and once it's ready your site goes live on your address — with a secure connection (the padlock you see in the address bar).

The change can take a little while to take effect, and Sajt keeps checking on its own. You'll see a simple status the whole time:

• Checking your address… — Sajt is looking at your address.
• One more step is needed — make the small change, then it continues by itself.
• Ready to use — your address is live.
• It didn't work yet — Sajt explains what to try, and keeps checking.

What it costs

• Connecting an address you already own is included free on any paid plan.
• On a yearly paid plan, you also get a free .se or .com address for the first year.

Still being finished

Buying a brand-new address inside Sajt, and the final automatic go-live check, are in their last stage of being switched on. Connecting an address you already own is the path to use today. If your address doesn't go live the moment you finish, that's simply that last step being turned on — not anything you did wrong.
