What happens when I leave the car?

The car is diagnosed first, and you are told what was found and what it means before anything is replaced or repaired. Only then is it decided what to do.

What decides the price of a repair?

The price is driven by which part needs replacing, how long the work takes and how accessible that part is on your particular model. So it is set after the diagnosis, not before.

Can I use the car in the meantime?

It depends on the fault: some affect only comfort, others involve brakes, steering or tyres and should be looked at before driving on. Get in touch and describe what is happening and it can be said what applies.
