About My business

At My business every text is read once more against the original before it is handed over. If the source is unclear we ask, rather than guessing on your behalf.

How we’ll work

    01

    We talk it through

You tell me what you need and when.

    02

    I do the work

You get clear check-ins along the way.

    03

    You get it delivered

Files, source material and next steps are handed over together.

Questions and answers

Here are the answers to what we are most often asked.

Who owns the material when the job is done?

The right to use the finished material passes to you to the extent we agree, while sketches, raw files and rejected drafts stay with me unless we say otherwise. What is included is written into the brief.

What decides the price of a job?

The price is driven by scope: the number of pages, images or deliverables, how many rounds of revision are included and how much material you already have. A job with finished copy and finished photos moves faster than one where everything is made from scratch.

How many rounds of revision are included?

The number of rounds is agreed before the work starts and written into the brief, so both of us know where the line sits. More rounds than that can be added, and then they are their own item.

When can you start?

New jobs go in after the ones already booked, so the start depends on how the calendar looks at that point. Get in touch with the deadline you want and I will say whether it can be met.

Request a quote

Tell me about your project and I’ll get back with a proposal.

What kind of project?

Not sure what is required?

Write what the text is for and I will say what is required.
