My business is and does eye examinations and fits glasses and contact lenses. The examination comes first, the frames after it.

How often should I have my eyes checked?
That depends on age and on whether your sight feels changed. Many check every few years, but if you notice blurred text, double vision or headaches when reading there is reason to come sooner.
What decides the price of glasses?
The price is driven by the frame and by which lenses are needed: single-vision lenses cost less than varifocals, and extras like thinner lenses or coatings also matter. We go through the choices once the prescription is known.
Can I switch to contact lenses?
Often yes, but it depends on the prescription, the tear film and how the eye looks. A fitting shows whether lenses suit you and how they go in and out.
Do I need a referral?
No, an eye examination is booked directly with us. If the examination shows something an eye doctor should look at we will say so, and you are referred on. Get in touch if you are unsure what you need.
